Before Jesus was arrested, He told Peter that Peter would deny Him three times. But Peter insisted that he was ready to die for Jesus. 🙏🏽 Jesus encouraged Peter and prayed for his faith. Meanwhile, when Jesus was arrested, Peter followed Him from a distance. While Jesus was being questioned, people recognized Peter and asked if he was one of Jesus’ disciples. Out of fear, Peter denied knowing Jesus three times, just as Jesus had said he would. After the third denial, a rooster crowed, and Peter remembered Jesus’ words. 😔 After Jesus was resurrected, Peter saw Jesus.
